  • Squid whole clean the tentacles: 1 kg
  • Salt and pepper: taste.
  • Stuffing
  • Minced beef: 300 g
  • Garlic: 2
  • Strips of bacon:
  • Olive oil: taste.
  • Carrot: 1
  • Onion: 1
  • Beer: 150 ml
  • Bread: 2 Slices
  • Coriander picadinhos: taste.
  • Sauce


Start by cleaning the squid with water, inside and out, allowing them the bags and the tentacles. Season with salt and pepper and set aside. In a pan, add the chopped onion and let it cook in olive oil until the onion be blonde. Add the meat previously seasoned salt, garlic, carrot, both cut into small cubes.

Add to them the beer and cook until they are tender. Add the tentacles, the bacon and coriander and cook. Add the fatiazinhas of bread to small pieces and involve in the sauce until soften. Proceed to the filling: Take a lula and fill (with the help of a teaspoon) with the prepared meat.

Tighten the squid until almost full, and close it with a toothpick. Repeat the process for all the squid. In a tachinho, put some sauce of meat that has left, the pulp, tomato, and bay leaf. Bring to the boil a little. Add the sugar and the coriander, finely chopped.

Place the squid one by one in the sauce and let it cook for about 30 minutes on a low heat. Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
