Squid ready dressed in red wine

  • Squid clean: 500 g
  • Peeled tomatoes in cans: 300 g
  • Red wine: 150 ml
  • Olive oil: 5 Tablespoons
  • Large onion: 1
  • Garlic as well minced: 2 Teeth
  • Red pepper: 1/2
  • Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  • Salt: 1 Pinch
  • Malagueta dry: 1
  • Coriander: 1 Small Sprig
  • Lemon juice: for seasoning


Wash the squid and cut them to the rodelinhas, reserving the tentacles. Season with a little salt, chilli and lemon juice. In a table, cut the onion and red pepper very picadinhos.
