Tomato soup

  • Tomato: 1 kg
  • Oil: 1 tablespoon
  • Onion: 1
  • Garlic: 2 teeth
  • Tomato paste: 1 tablespoon
  • Chicken broth: 4 cups
  • Sugar: ½ teaspoon
  • Salt: taste.
  • Pepper: taste.


There is a cross in the base of the tomatoes, put them in boiling water for 1 or 2 minutes and then soak in cold water. Removing the skin from top to bottom, starting from the cross. Grinds the pulp, heat the oil in a pot on medium and joins the chopped onion and the garlic crushed.

Pan lightly fry for 5 minutes or until onion be well tender. Add the tomatoes and tomato paste. Pan lightly fry in a pan with the lid and simmer for 10 minutes.

Add the broth, salt, pepper and sugar and let it bake covered for 5 minutes. Pour the soup slowly in a container to grind to obtain a homogeneous mixture. Back to put the soup in a pan, heat well, and you can spruce it up with a sprig of perifólio fresh or croutons.
