Chutney apples with mint

  • Apple: 2 kg
  • Tomato: 500 g
  • Vinegar: 5 dl
  • Sugar: 500 g
  • Ginger: 2 Teaspoons
  • Mixture of spices: ½ Teaspoon
  • Salt: ½ Teaspoon
  • Grape: 500 g
  • Mint: 50 g
  • Cayenne pepper: to taste


The chutney is a condiment of indian origin for the follow-up of cold meats. Peel and finely chop the apples. Pike also the tomatoes, peeled and seedless. Take these ingredients to bake with 2.5 dl of vinegar to the pulp of tomatoes and apples to dispose of and prepared to acquire thickness.

Add the remaining vinegar, sugar, ginger powder, a mixture of spices, salt, grapes without grainha and a good pinch of cayenne pepper. Light-to-bake for 15 minutes, add the chopped mint and boil 5 more minutes or until ready to be very thick.

Throw in the bottle.
