Potatoes grilled with butter and oregano

  • New potatoes: 1 kg
  • Salt: taste.
  • Butter: 4 Tablespoons
  • Olive oil: 2 Tablespoons
  • Oregano, fresh (book leaves): 12 Branches
  • Black pepper, beans, ground cool:
  • Aluminum foil: taste.


1. In a large pot, put the potatoes, washed and with the skin, fill with water, heat and bring to a boil. Add salt to taste.

2. Let the potatoes to cook until they begin to become soft, but not fully cooked, about 10 minutes. Drain and let it cool. With the thumb make an incision at the top of the potato, to be a hole.

3. Cutting bits of paper aluminum large enough so that you can wrap each potato individually.

4. Place each potato on top of his respective role. Within each one has a bit of butter and a few sheets of oregano. Season with salt and pepper, wrap it in paper and close as well.

5. Put the packages on the grill and cook, shake them occasionally, until potatoes begin to stay golden, about 20 minutes. Remove from the heat. Transfer the potatoes to a serving platter. Season with olive oil, salt and pepper to taste.
