Ingredients

  • Flour: 2 cups
  • Sugar: 7 tablespoons
  • Femento powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ground cinnamon: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Nutmeg ground: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cloves, crushed: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Ginger ground: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cold butter: 6 tablespoons
  • Mashed pumpkin: 1/2 cup
  • Milk and cream (in equal parts): 3 tablespoons
  • Egg gran

Directions

Pre-heat the oven to 200 c and place the parchment paper in a tray (or silicone film).

Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and spices in a bowl.

Use a fork to go together the butter to the dry ingredients until the mixture is esfarelada and without pieces of butter to the view. Book.

In another bowl, combine the pumpkin with the milk and the egg. Join these ingredients to the dry and form a ball of dough.

Place the dough on a lightly floured surface and form a rectangle with 2.5 cm tall, three times longer than wide.

Use a knife or a pizza cutter to slice the mass twice in the sense of width, making three equal portions.

Cut each portion in X (getting 4 pieces of dough) so that it ends with 12 triangular slices.

Put on the board. Bake in the oven for 14-16 minutes. Put in a grid cooling.

Icing of spices:

Combine all the ingredients and put on top of scones, letting it dry before serving.
