Quiche onion with bacon

  • Base
  • Flour: 200 g
  • Margarine: 120 g
  • Salt: taste.
  • Water: 0,5 dl
  • Stuffing
  • Onion: 500 g
  • Olive oil: 1 dl
  • Salt: taste.
  • Cream: 2 dl
  • Flour: 2 tablespoons
  • Eggs: 3
  • Salt and pepper: taste.
  • Bacon slices: 200 g


For the base of the quiche:

Pour the flour in a bowl, open a concavity and throw margarine softened, salt and water. Quickly mix with the tips of his fingers. When the dough is homogeneous, make a ball, cover with plastic wrap and let it rest in the fridge.

For the filling:

Cut the onions into thin slices in the form of a half moon. Heat the olive oil and saute the onions until they are well cooked (about 10 to 15 minutes).

Season with salt and leave to cool. Tent the dough with a rolling pin and line a form of pie. Chop the fund with a fork and bake in the oven for a few minutes. However, in a bowl, mix the cream with 2 tablespoons of flour and the eggs, stirring well.

Season again with salt, add the onion simmered and lie down on the mass of the pie. Sprinkle the slices of bacon on the pie. Bring it back in the oven until the stuffing cooked and the bacon crisp.
