Pie pumpkin and red onion flavored with onions

  • For the dough
  • Wheat flour: 100 g
  • Whole-wheat flour: 50 g
  • Unsalted butter softened: 65 g
  • Warm water: 150 g
  • Salt: 1 Teaspoon
  • For the filling
  • Pumpkin: 250 g
  • Onions purple medium: 3
  • Chives: taste.
  • Olive oil, salt and pepper in grain: taste.
  • Grain mustard: 1 Tablespoon d


Turn on the oven to 180.

Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Start by making the dough. In a bowl, add the flour, salt, butter, and the warm water and stir until obtaining a homogeneous mass. Book in the cold for 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Cut the onion in half and then into thin slices. Book.

Cut the pumpkin into cubes 2 by 2 cm.

Heat a frying pan with olive oil, add the onions, season with salt and pepper, and leave stir-fry for another 3 minutes. Remove and set aside.

Add a little olive oil in a frying pan and when hot add the pumpkin. Season with mustard, salt and pepper and cook for 8 minutes. Book.

Sprinkle the bench with flour and put the dough in a circle with a 30-cm diameter.

Roll out the dough on the roll and place on the baking tray lined with parchment paper. Roll it down carefully, taking care to leave 4 cm mass on the rim, fill the first with the pumpkin and then with the onion. Aromatize with chives, chopped fold the edges in the direction of the centre and bake in the oven for 30 minutes until golden brown.

When you exit from the oven and sprinkle the cake with a drizzle of olive oil and, if necessary, add more chives.
