Aromatised wine for Christmas

  • Water: 4,5 dl
  • Sugar: 170 g
  • Small lemon: 1
  • Cravinhos: 7
  • Cinnamon: 3 Sticks
  • Nutmeg, grated: The taste
  • Red wine (to taste): 2 Bottles
  • Port wine: 2.5 dl
  • Thinly mandarin orange or lemon (to decorate): The taste


In a large pot, where it has already been poured into the water, add the sugar, the lemon integer (well washed), the cravinhos, nutmeg (ground at the time), cinnamon sticks. Light the fire. Let the sugar dissolve in simmer. Then, go up the heat and, when it comes to the boil, download it again and leave to brew between one and two minutes.

At that time, add the wine (red fruity and Port). Leave on a low heat, without coming to a boil. Before serving, filter the drink through a loop. Take him to a glass of punch and decorate with slices of tangerine and lemon (and treading in the liquid).
