  • 1 kg of fresh grated coconut
  • 1 kg of crystal sugar
  • 100 g unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 10 eggs


1. Pre-heat the oven to 180 C.

2. In a large bowl, add the fresh grated coconut and sugar.

3. Stir until the sugar and coco well blended. Beat eggs slightly with a fork and add them to the mix along with the butter.

4. Stir to incorporate all the ingredients.

5. Grease a shallow baking dish with butter and sprinkle sugar crystal.

6. Download cocada to the pan and bring to a bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until it is well cooked.
