Cod Florentine

  • Put the cod: 2
  • Spinach: 500 g
  • Water from the cooking of the cod: 200 ml
  • Flour, Cornstarch: 2 Tablespoons
  • Grated cheese: taste.
  • Mashed potatoes: 1 Package
  • Salt: The taste


Cook the cod and save about 200 ml of water and cooking. Remove bones and skin, split into chips for your dates and book.

Cook the spinach in boiling water seasoned with salt, and then drain them very well. However also prepare the mashed potatoes. In a small saucepan pour the flour, Cornstarch and add little by little, the cooking water for cod, and heat the mixture thickens.

Add the cod, and spinach, and the sauce, and get involved. Correct the seasoning, if necessary.

On a board lightly greased, place around the mashed potatoes, and in the center place the mixture of the cod. Sprinkle lightly with grated cheese and bake in the oven, the average temperature, the hard grating.
