  • Flour: 900 g
  • Butter: 450 g
  • Sodium bicarbonate: 4 teaspoons
  • Sweet orange: ½ cup
  • Corinth, or passes: 450 g
  • Sultana: 900 g
  • Egg: 4
  • Sugar: 450 g
  • Nutmeg: ½ teaspoon
  • The essence of almond: 1 teaspoon
  • The essence of lemon: 1 teaspoon
  • Milk: 570 ml
  • Whisky or brandy: 4 tablespoons
