Roast chicken to Portuguese

  • 1 large chicken
  • 2 dl of white wine
  • 1 teaspoon of lard
  • 1 teaspoon margarine
  • 1 tbsp red pepper mass
  • 1 dl of chicken broth
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • salt
  • 800 grs. potatoes tiny
  • 200 grs. bacon


Clean, wash and wipe the chicken. Crush the garlic in the mortar and mix with pepper paste and the two fats derretidas.Ponha the chicken in the tray to the back put the peeled potatoes and bacon cut into cubes. Season the chicken outside and inside with the pope of garlic as the rest of which is to your back. Pour in the white wine mixed with broth in the board. Take to bake in hot oven about or - 40 minutes, basting the roast from time to time with the own sauce. Serve accompanied with a mixed salad.
