Banana cake

  • Flour unleavened: 2 cup
  • Nuts, broken to pieces, roasted: 1 cup
  • Sugar-1 cup
  • Bicarbonate of soda: 3/4 teaspoon
  • Salt fine: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Bananas very mature, well-crushed: 3 (1 1/2 cups)
  • Natural yoghurt: 1/4 cup
  • The beaten eggs: 2
  • Unsalted butter, melted and the room temperature: 6 tablespoons
  • Vanilla essence: 1 teaspoon


Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Butter bread, and sift the flour.

In a large bowl mix the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and nuts. Book.

In a medium bowl mix the mashed bananas, yogurt, eggs, butter and vanilla. Gently incorporate the mix of banana with the flour mixture. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Place in the oven and cook for about 50 minutes or until cooked. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes on the way, turn to a grid own and let it cool completely.

Serve warm or at room temperature.
